Day 1: SAI GON – CU CHI  TUNNELS – CAN THO (L, D)

Cu Chi - well-known Tunnels

7:00 am, head to Cu Chi to visit the amazing and well-known Tunnels.

Pick up at your hotel in Sai Gon at around 7:00 am by minivan then transfer you travel up to Cu Chi Tunnels. Arrive there at around 9:00 am to discover the incredible underground world of the Tunnels. The tunnels dug by resourceful guerrilla fighters to provide communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters during numerous conflicts. Try the local cassava root that sustained guerrilla fighters for years.

It played a great important role to Vietnamese soldier during Vietnam War. Learn more about the courage & ingenuity of the inhabitants of the Cu Chi tunnels. Get a great insight into the tenacity and resourcefulness of Vietnamese people. Have lunch with local cuisine at a good restaurant.

1:00 pm a trip to Can Tho city, the capital of beautiful Mekong Delta

After lunch, with a happy belly, everyone can get back to our minivan and make a trip to Can Tho city, the central part of Mekong Delta. The trip is around 4 hours but comfortable with our expert driver. Arrive in Can Tho city at around 5:00 pm for check-in and rest.

Begin a lovely city tour

5:30 pm, Get ready and we will pick you up at hotel, begin a city tour on lovely electric car with amazing local typical street food offered at food stalls and local restaurant in Can Tho town. Visit famous sights of the city as Old Market, Ong Pagoda, Ninh Kieu Quay, Food Street. Relaxing yourself at local café-music house, where you can enjoy the local drinks and local musical band performance. What a great way to learn quicker and deeper into local culture and traditional through eating and drinking. Come back to your hotel at around 8:30 pm to take a good rest.

Day 2: CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET AND EXPERIENCE LOCAL LIFE AT OUR HOMESTAY/RESORT (B, L, D)

After breakfast at the hotel, we pick you up at 5:30 am then transport you to the pier, board the boat, and visit the largest Cai Rang floating market in Vietnam, get to know how people here trade on river cleverly.

7:30 am time to discover river life with authentic Cai Rang floating market

Arrive at the pier, you will then get on the boat to visit the Cai Rang floating market, the biggest floating market in Vietnam. What a fantastic experience to explore how the local people are living on their boats as they considered their second home for cooking, sleeping, and trading on the river. You are able to catch up with many incredible images of their trading times to local vendors. Sometimes you can see the rosters and puppy dogs on their boats as similar to people who live on land.

Enjoy Vietnamese coffee at the market

Enjoy Vietnamese coffee at the market; climbing up to a fruit boat for enjoying fresh pineapple, so nice!

Visit a local rice noodle factory to learn how Mekong people make noodles by hand in the traditional way. Enjoy its specialty Noodle Pizza right there.

Visit the dragon fruit garden and small canal in the countryside

10:00 am, experience the Vietnamese hospitality and lifestyle. Get ready for some exercise!

Join the kayaking trip

Join the kayaking trip in magnificent jungle tributaries, and enjoy a relaxing moment paddling under the shade of coconut trees along the riverbank.

Finally, get on your bike for the last ride, cycling through a picturesque village, to get an insight into how life goes in this part of the country. On the way, we stopped to visit Can Tho's traditional workshop village, where the ancient crafts of knife-making and vermicelli are homemade. Immerse yourself in the process of making knives traditionally at the blacksmith workshop, witnessing the transformation of raw steel into knives.

Check-in the hotel/homestay in downtown and enjoy a lovely dinner, get ready for the next day!

Day 3: PHONG DIEN FLOATING MARKET - HO CHI MINH CITY (B, L)

Check out at the homestay then at 5:00 am you depart for visiting Phong Dien floating market, leave your luggage on the boat. The floating market is very small but peaceful which will give you another feeling compared to that in the big market.

After that, we head to small, long and narrow canals to see the daily activities of people living around there. Take a short walk around the countryside to enjoy the peaceful environment there.

8:30 am: Visit the Plant Nursery Village and the Fruit Garden

Back to the hotel for check-out and be ready to back to HCMC

3:00 pm, our minivan will drop you off in Ho Chi Minh City.

Your minivan takes you back to Saigon. Along the way, we pay a visit to one of the famous pagodas in the Mekong Delta, then stop at a local restaurant to have lunch. You probably arrive back in Sai Gon at around 3:00 pm depending on the traffic.
